It has been rightly said by Dalai Lama – “Once a year, go somewhere you’ve never been before”

This quote syncs appropriate to one’s traveling desire. Traveling to new destination is an exciting experience and memorable for lifetime. And, if you are visiting to somewhere never before, the enjoyment is double the expectation.

Traveling has a lot to offer for each traveler. Adventure lovers can go for hiking trails and mountains in Los Angeles. Whereas, luxury travel seekers can hire Los Angeles Private Tour for complete exploration of the most beautiful city – The Downtown.

    Beautiful Downtown City

With its many skyscrapers Downtown LA is the geographical centre of Los Angeles. But, most people acknowledge this place for being the central business district of Los Angeles, as it has banks, departmental stores, fashions houses, movie place and the great city center which has declined earlier. Although, Downtown LA is in the midst of a cultural and architectural resurgence that’s turning the area into a walkable, Metro-friendly destination dotted with museums and beautiful buildings. LA offers many key points of interest from L.A. Live, Union Station, Olivera Street, Angelino Heights and much more. If you are passionate about exploring the crude beauty of a modern city, personalize a Los Angeles Private Tour that will suit your interest.

Places to Explore in Downtown LA

L.A. Live: L.A. Live is home to some of the best Los Angeles attractions. This is a large entertainment complex adjacent to the Staples Center (home of the Los Angeles Kings and Los Angeles Lakers) hosting restaurants, bars, cinemas, concert theatres and a 54-story hotel and condominium tower. Included is the Grammy Museum – four floors with dozens of historical music artifacts spanning many genres and generation. Embedded on the sidewalks outside are bronze disks, similar to the Hollywood Walk of Fame, honoring each year’s top winners – Record of the Year, Album of the Year, Song of the Year and Best New Artist.

    Los Angeles Civic Center –

The largest concentration of government employees in the United States outside of Washington D.C. City Hall has appeared in numerous movie and television shows. It is also home to the Hall of Justice, Federal Courthouse, County Courthouse, Criminal Courts building and Los Angeles Police.

    Union Station –

Traveling through train has already gone out of fashion, but the “Last of the Great Railway Stations” built in the United States is still as handsome as the day it was opened. Wander through its hall and courtyard and you will experience the uniqueness of early designing. The magnificent history of this station sits adjacent to the site of the original Los Angeles settlement, where the famous Olvera Street is located today.

    Olvera Street –

This vibrant internationally renowned marketplace offers visitors a shopping and dining experience that reflects Mexican culture and traditions. This place is also known for El Pueblo de Los Angeles Historical Monument, which the oldest remaining structure in Los Angeles. There is real history hear including the oldest building in Los Angeles.

    Chinatown –

The first established Chinatown in America. Only a few shorts blocks up from Union Station, shoppers crowd the sidewalk while restaurants serve the best dim-sum and noodles.

The Walt Disney Concert Hall –

The Los Angeles Music Center at 111 South Grand Avenue is a home for city’s drama, dance and opera companies. Walt Disney Concert Hall is recently added for Philharmonic orchestra and the Los Angeles Master Chorale. The stunning architecture of this Frank Gehry-designed building is not easy to explore. The best way to see the theatres is to see a show at Disney Concert Hall.

    California Science Center –

Features hands-on interactive science exhibits and the Air and Space Gallery. It is standing at 700 Exposition Park Drive. The Space Shuttle Endeavour has found its permanent home here. There’s also an IMAX movie theatre with free admission to all.

    Angelino Heights –

Founded in 1886, this is one of the oldest districts in Los Angeles. With its steep hills, this picturesque neighborhood has served as the backdrop for countless movies from the earliest days of cinema to the present. The area was planned as a respectable, genteel Victorian neighborhood for Los Angeles’ late 19th century upper-middle class and still contains some of the best remaining examples of Victorian-era architectural styles as well as later examples of Craftsman and Mission Revival styles.

These are few common places you must visit in Downtown LA with your Los Angeles private tour operator. The best tour operator will let you see Downtown in a different way, which you have never experienced before. So, if you are thinking about a luxury trip in Los Angeles, take a tour around the beautiful city of Downtown. There are much more things to do then what you have ever expected!
